  1. Totally relate to this. I am doing it more and more and get in irrational fear thinking it may be the beginning of Alzheimers, which is in my immediate family. I love your prayer at the end. I’m going to go with that more often!

  2. I’m just thankful I can still feed myself and take care of my personal needs!! Because of my balance problem, most mornings when I get up and put my hands on my walker, I say: ” Okay, God, you and I can do this”! And we do! Blessed be the name of the Lord!
    I like your prayer!
Blessings and love to you. Margaret

    • Thanks, Margaret. I know the feeling. Getting up every day and trusting God for each new step. And He does come through.

  3. I just talked to a friend yesterday and we were lamenting this very issue.
She found her salt in the freezer. Saying to herself ” Who put that there?” Then laughed because she lives alone!!!
Yes, it is better to smile and just go on. Except for the fact that her mother 101 and still remembers everything!!! We are only 88!!
My prayer is that I will remember to be thankful even if I forget everything else!!

  4. Have you ever pointed your phone at the Tv. and try to change channels? I have, only to feel silly afterwards!!! This happened while watching tv. in bed at night.

  5. Thanks – I thought I was going crazy, but now I know it is not just me. I am so thankful that the Lord loves me no matter how old and wacky I am. Blessings
