Meet Lavender May
My second great grandchild–a girl–born to my first grandchild, Noah and his beautiful wife May, on January 17. Today Lavender May is one month old.
It is so amazing to have lived long enough to see the ‘grands’ giving birth to ‘great-grands.’ And to see my daughters becoming grandmothers.
I am thanking God daily for the gift of these little ones, the life and joy they bring, and the talents that will emerge as they grow into the persons God has made them to be.
Ah! What could be better?
Many of you may have received a similar gift and others may have that joy yet to come. To God be the glory. It is amazing how a little peanut such as this can totally fill one’s heart.
Lavender, darling, may your life be filled with wonder and joy and peace and the grace to overcome obstacles as they come.
I already love you and can’t wait to hold you! ❤️
What a gift! Congratulations to you Karen. I know that you will be flying East as soon as you can to get those amazing baby cuddles that are waiting just for you her Great Grandma.
Great grandmotherhood is still waiting for me! I am ready but my grandies aren’t!!
All in good time…… God’s time. That suits me just fine as I love being cradled in his embracing arms.
Welcome indeed to Lavender. A lovely name after a beautifully scented flowering bloom. May she have a wonderful life filled with joy, peace and love. Om.
Thank you, Kathleen. Special indeed. Your time wlll come in God’s timing, as you said.
Just precious. I love this. :)))))
Thanks, Heidi. A gift from God.
Congratulations, Karen, on a beautiful Great and what a beautiful name. I have one ‘great’ and she is 20 years old! Who knows what is
in the future ~however we know that God is there! What a blessing.
I will never forget when I held my first baby and my first Grand. My ‘Great Grand’ was almost three years old before I saw her but it was wonderful as she reached her little arms to me so I could hold her. I can’t think of anything more wonderful than the feeling of holding a precious baby close to our heart. I pray for the parents that they may be filled with the love of God as they hold their precious one.
I hope you get to see her soon and feel all the love!
Love you! Margaret
Thank you, Margaret. You know what it’s like and I thank you for sharing your experience.
Absolutely beautiful, Congratulations ❤️❤️
Thanks, Cathy and Walter. So sweet of you to chime in.
Such a precious announcement- and photo! Thanks for blessing us all with little Lavender May! To God be the glory!
Yes, to God be the glory for sure. Thanks so much for enjoying this moment with me.
So sweet Karen. Thank you for sharing your Blessings!
Janet
Thanks Janet.
Beautiful gift for all your family!
Thank you, Virla. Lavender is a special gift.
Congratulations! Babies are such a treasured gift. I look forward to greats maybe in the next decade or so. I remember my great grandma who lived to be 107. ;-)What a special blessing!
Wow, Laura. A great grandma who lived till 107. She mjust have outlived a lot of people. How lucky you were to have her in your life.
What wonderful news! Congratulations!
Thanks, Janet. You are always so supportive. I was at MH this past weekend and thought of all the great conferences we’ve shared. Luis Palau was the speaker for the All-Comers Conference. Truly an awesome time.
How delightful. She looks so sweet!
Great grand children are the best.
God bless her 😊
Thanks, Etta Mae. While at MH this past weekend for the All-Comers Conference I stopped by the creek where you and I and your little ‘grands’ connected a few years ago. A sweet place and a sweet time.
Karen, congratulations! What a blessing to see these little “peanuts” born into loving homes and as part of your heart and lineage. Such joy! I know you can’t wait to hold her and love on her, and that she already owns real estate in your heart. Blessings to each of you.
Yes, Carol. She really does own real estate in my heart. It’s been a joy to hear about her progress. I’ll meet her in June.
