Living a Quiet Life — 12 Comments

  1. Your writing today touched me very deeply. What a wonderful example that Brother Lawrence set of doing everything for the love of God. Thank you for your transparency. I relate to so much of your life experiences. I love that the moment he sinned he stopped, confessed and received God’s forgiveness. What a wonderful way to live. It is true that it is a waste of time to judge and second guess ourselves instead of practicing the presence of God. I really love what you wrote. It inspires me. Thank you Karen for sharing so much of your heart and your insights.

    Love you,
    Sandy

  5. I am not familiar with Brother Lawrence
But I intend to find the book.
Your words hit home in many ways. During my lifetime I had challenges and sometimes did not handle them very well. The Good Lord came by my side and has remained there by way of the Holy Spirit. For this I am ever so grateful.
Thank you Karen for your timely blog.
