Happy New Year!
I’m relaxing this week and I hope you are too!
I won’t even suggest making a new year’s resolution. I simply encourage each of us to look back with thanks, and to look forward with anticipation, knowing that our lives and our dreams are in God’s hands. He will make all things new and right and pleasing in his sight. All we have to do is wait and watch and praise him.
Look straight ahead, and fix your eyes on what lies before you.
(Proverbs 4:25 NLT)
Happy New Year to you, Karen. I hope 2016 goes well.
Thanks, Janet. I pray the same for you.
Good for you resting during the holidays. Happy New Year Karen!
Thanks, Rebecca. It feels good to take a real break. I hope you are resting too.
Well said, my Friend!! I used to make New Years Resolutions but realize it was pretty foolish as I never followed thru! BIG smile! Just need to do the best we can, accept our blessings with gratitude and do exactly as you have stated above!
Love and blessings to all !
Margaret
Thanks, Margaret. Yes, why stress ourselves when God has it all in control? 🙂
Thanks for sharing a verse to rest in for 2016. Looking forward to a great year. May God fill yours with blessings Karen.
Smiles, BRC
And I pray blessings on your new year too, Beth. Thanks for being a faithful friend through the years.
Dear Sister, my favorite Scripture comes to mind as I read your postings this morning. “All things work together for good to those who love GOD and are called according to His Purposes.” ROMANS 8:28 Have a Blessed and Very HAPPY NEW YEAR.
Jay
Thank you, Jay. A most happy and blessed new year to you and Linda, too.
Happy New Year Dear Friend Karen. I hope that we can share many new memories together in 2016. I look forward to seeing you soon. Much love and many blessings to all, Kathleen.
I’m looking forward to more adventures with you too, Kathleen. A happy and healthy new year to you and Don.
I’m retreating to Canada to relax and rest in the Lord for a month. Just to be alone with Him and to write. That’s it. That’s all I’m doing. I am here now and have it all set up. I look forward to my time alone with God. God bless you Karen as you rest in Him. Sometimes we just need to be still and know that He is God. I think that’s Psalms 46:10. Hap putty New Year Karen. (No resolutions for me either.)
What a great idea, Jim, to spend a month focused on God in a beautiful setting. May your time bring much fruit and sweet companionship with your Lord.
A very happy new year to you Karen! I would like to be more reliable concerning, recording my monthly expenses. How does one keep up with the store receipts? If you have a good way I would like to know it.
Thanks for your comment, Mary. I will email you privately to answer your question about store receipts.
