Happy Labor Day! — 2 Comments

  1. Yes indeed Happy Labor Day to you all. 54 years ago was a true Labor Day for me in Glasgow, Scotland as my oldest daughter Anne was born on 4th September! One I will never forget!
Thanks also Karen for Bran muffin recipe. Looks easy and delicious and I know I can make the Gluten Free changes! Much Love to you always dear friend. I am off to visit Elizabeth in Boston soon and after that we will make a plan to be together again. Big Hugs and Gratitude 🙏🏻👍😘❤️

  2. It is a day to remember those who have labored so hard to protect all of us during times of crisis like the one going on now with the Hurricane wrecking the Bahamas and threathening many places. WE are fortunate here in Orlando that now our main threat is high winds but still a lot of danger for the coast line. I am thankful for all the people who resuce those in danger and feel we should always say a pray for them each day and be grateful for those willing to risk their own life for ‘others’.I also pray a prayer of gratitude for all caregivers. I pray the people who take care of others in nursing homes, and do difficult task will know they are important and we appreciate them. Iam glad I made it a habit when I am in a restroom at the airport (or any public place) if there is a lady mopping the floor or just cleaning up to tell them I appreciate them. They seem to really be surprised and give me a smile.
LOVE all your drawings, especially Snoopy!!
    Love you too! Margaret
