Giving Thanks . . .
Happy Thanksgiving, dear friends and family. I appreciate your faithful reading all these months and give thanks with you for the bounty in our lives: love, peace, liberty, faith, one another, and the unending grace of God who loves us with an everlasting love–no matter what.
- 1 Chronicles 16:34: “Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.”
- Colossians 3:15: “Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.”
- Colossians 4:2: “Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.”
- 1 Corinthians 1:4: “I always thank my God for you because of his grace given you in Christ Jesus.”
- 2 Corinthians 9:11: “You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.”
- 1 Timothy 4:4-5: “For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer.”
Enjoy your family celebration, delicious food, restful time together
and the love of God throughout the day.

Love these verses! Happy Thanksgiving!
And to you the same, dear friend. Enjoy your holiday with your family.
Thank you, Karen, for the inspiring verses of scripture. I pray you will have a beautiful day with family and/or friends or both! It is a beautiful world and we are so fortunate to have eyes to see it. We are sooo blessed! A little ‘food for thought’: Instead of thinking of the things you want but don’t have, think of the things you don’t want that you don’t have”. This makes me realize my “wants” are really not important but what I already have is worth giving Thanks to our giving God. Happy Thanksgiving with love. Margaret
Margaret, what a beautiful sentiment. Thanks for inspiring me today.
