Gettin’ the Word Out
Hi everyone:
This week I just want to share an interview I had with Greg Musselman a few weeks ago on the Canadian TV show “100 Huntley Street,” (the longest running show of its kind in Canada’s history) about my book, Help, Lord, I’m Having a Senior Moment.
Here’s the updated link/video http://www.100huntley.com/watch?id=228571 if you’d like to watch it.
I had been on the show twenty years ago for another book, Basket of Blessings: 31 Days to a More Grateful Heart.
The people there are lovely to work with and I had a wonderful experience.
I enjoyed your interview and admire you for your work, services, and speaking up for Jesus. It was a big honor for me to get to meet you on our trip through the west coast volcanoes.
Soooo nice to hear from you again, Karen. Thanks for taking the time to post your kinds words.
Listened to the video link, and, as usual, I loved everything you said…that’s my girl! love, Heidi
Thanks, Heidi. You are such a supportive friend and I thank Dick too, for taking the time to watch the video.
I enjoyed your video Karen such a blessing!
What a example you are for Christ!
Also I haven’t forgotten about us meeting,I will get in touch
when there’s a time that will work and I will text you to see
if it will work for you.
Love Janet
Hi Janet. Thanks for checking in and sharing your comment. I’m looking forward to meeting with you on a Wednesday morning that works for you.
Karen, That video was splendid! You are so awesome my friend. Just yourself! Clear. Clever. Loving. Kind. Spiritual. Non judgemental. In the moment and so very delightful. Thank you for sharing SO much of yourself with SO many of us and for being a wonderful example of pure love. ❤️
Thanks, Kathleen. Such loving words. I appreciate them and I look forward to my weekend with you and Don coming up.
Hi Karen, I ditto everything the previous replies had to say. It is so important to get plugged in and give of yourself. We are to be ambassadors for Christ. There are so many ways to do this. It doesn’t have to be big and splashy. Just that it is done from the heart and to glorify our Savior.
Hi Joan. Thanks for you wonderful words of wisdom.
Wonderful interview, dear Karen! So fun to “see” you again, and you never fail to inspire me. You just shine Jesus. I’m sure every viewer will benefit from what you shared. (By the way, I love your hair!) Hugs, my friend.
Hi Judy. Thanks for your kind comment. I miss seeing you too.
Dear one, since my hearing is not ‘clear’ ( not the volume but the clarity) AND my speakers with my computer are not working well, I am unable to listen to the interview. ( Yes, I have hearing aids but the medical specialist does not know what to do about the “clarity” ?) I will see if the speakers on my computer can be “fixed” and hopefully I can listen. It sounds so exciting and I am so VERY proud of you and think it is wonderful of you to be willing to share these special moments of your interview.
I am so thankful I consider you a friend and a blessing to me and helper in looking at life in a wonderful way. I have enjoyed the books I have read of yours but do not remember ‘for sure’ if I have read this one? I will check my bookcase.
Love and blessings, Margaret
Thanks, Margaret. I appreciate your dilemma with hearing. I believe my hearing is changing, as well, as I grow older. Take good care.
Karen, what a delightful interview. You are beautiful, vibrant, and expressive. I love not only what you write but how you live your life. Thanks for sharing this great segment. I pray many will be encouraged by your life and your writing. Bless you!
Thank you, Carol. Such loving words. I appreciate each one.
