Eyes to See

Today, dear friends, I am having cataract surgery on my right eye and then in two weeks on the left.
I’m thanking God for the gift of renewed vision and the gift of my surgeon’s capable hands to do the work.
I’ll be back next week . . .
Now then, stand still and see this great thing the LORD is about to do before your eyes!

Good for you! I will be praying that all will go well with both eyes. I had the same surgery many years ago and so thankful that both surgeries turned out well. Tanya has had the surgery on one eye and it has been successful! So grateful for the knowledge that we sometimes take for granted.

That surgery is so much better than it used to be. When my mother had it done – I think it was during the 1960s- she was in the hospital for a week. Now you can usually go home the same day.
Yes, I went home about one hour after the surgery and already have improved vision.
Your eyes are so important as you see God and His visions for you through your wonderful stories and your life. I pray for the surgeon and nurses, I pray for healing so you can see clearly God’s creations around you

Glad it went well. I am another recipient of new vision after cataract surgery. Only need glasses to read now . I had worn them full time since I was 17 .
