Clouds, Blue Sky and Traffic
Last week I read a beautiful inspiration. The writer encouraged readers to stop, look and listen at least twice a day, looking at nothing more than the blue sky and fluffy clouds and passing cars.
I realized I had been doing just that! Every morning after an early breakfast, I stroll the path in our courtyard and then I sit on a wicker bench and look out at the passing scene–blue sky, fluffy clouds and cars racing by. I stay there for about ten minutes and each day it has been a blessing to my spirit and my mind. No problems to solve, no conversation to sustain, no to-do list to go over.
It’s a great opportunity to give thanks. That’s all–to praise Go for those simple gifts.

Thank you, Paula. I’m glad to know my words are encouraging.
It’s always good to be reminded of the importance of “smelling the roses” or looking at the sky, observing puffy clouds or even cars racing by. Each day is such a blessing – in both big and small ways!
Thank you, Glenda. I miss you.
Karen thank you for your uplifting writing. It made me smile because at this time in my life I go out into my backyard and talk to my plants, water them, look up at the sky and give thanks to the Lord for His love and many blessings. This centers me and is so good for my soul.I love the quote about the importance of enjoying the present. Thank you for continuing to write. It means a lot to me.
Thank you for sharing your experience. It inspires me.
I have been doing the same Karen! The simplistic solace is invigorating.
Smiles, BRC
Thanks, Beth. Good to hear we are on the same wavelength.
