  5. Good one as always! After my husband died, I moved to a condo and my daughter and son-in-law said I needed a new fridge! The stove and other kitchen appliances were fine and I thought the fridge should be okay too-didn’t need to spend more money! The three of us were cleaning out and getting ready for me to move my things over and I was cleaning in the kitchen. I got a shock when I pulled out the fridge and saw what looked like oil on the back, rust, and a lot of things that were really frightening. I did not say anything to Tanya and Fred but while we were eating dinner out I causually said: Let’s go look at some refrigerators while we are out! My awesome son-in-law is a shopper and wanted to jump up immediately and go to Lowes, next door and look! We found one there that we liked but Fred wanted to look further. We went home, he got the newpaper and found that Sears had the same fridge on sale, plus free delivery and would take the old one away and the sale ended the very next day! WOW! It was great and all of us were happy!
Happy hunting to you for whatever you need! end of story! smile.
    Love ‘ya! Margaret

  6. Hi Karen,
I can relate. Great analogy. I think I replaced all our appliances at one time or the other. In terms of my longevity, it has hit. I don’t worry about it because I know where I am going. Of course I know no one who wants to step into oblivion, but what waits on the other said is really something to look forward to. What I don’t like about crossing over is, I’ll miss seeing the kids and the new kids. My kids have literally been my life. I had a thought the other day: when we are young, we think there is plenty of time. . . .and then there’s not.
