Ah Sweet Memories! — 13 Comments

  1. God bless you Karen ! Yes , we have lived a long time and God had been faithful “thru it all”.
Amazing when you think how many decades we have lived .
When I was 50 years old in 1980 , 1900 seemed like a very long time ago. Today someone who is 50 thinks of 1973 in the same way !!
God bless you lovely memories 😍

  2. Greetings Karen…I have quite a few boxes to go through after my move to the Central Valley. All pictures of family going back a few generations plus the present generation. Can’t seem to get to it. There are a lot of happy times and memories in those boxes.
Someday I will do it. Thank you Karen
    For you loving sweet memories.

  3. Dear Karen,
Your writing touched my heart. How sweet it must have been to see photos of yourself as a baby, toddler and growing up. What a blessing to hear how you are so thankful for every day. The scripture is very beautiful too.I am so grateful that I went through thousands of photographs when you were editing my memoir. I will always treasure the time we spent together on it. My daughters were happy to receive my memoir along with man photos over the years. God bless you and your family Karen.
    Love,
    Sandy

    • Thank you, Sandy. You have been my inspiration regarding photos. I. have many set up in my new apartment as reminders of so many good times. I’m happy to hear your daughters loved the memoirs you wrote.

  4. Thanks for sharing such wonderful thoughts and memories. Now that I am 80, I remember to thank God every day for waking up.

  5. Hey Karen,
Family photos are my most precious material possessions. Some photos go back a
few generations with no names on them and I have no idea who they are; yet they
are still a part of my family.
