  1. Amen and Amen !!! So often we forget to just appreciate what we have. You stated it so beautifully..as usual. Happy December and Blessed Christmastime to you dear friend.

  2. Thank you so much Karen for your beautiful writing of all of the things you are thankful for. This is so important to remember. I will always be thankful for the positive influence that you’ve been in my life.

  3. I feel like I am the one who wrote this!smile!I believe most anything i CAN SAY WILL BE A “REPEAT” I am 95 years old, cannot stand up unless I hold on to a good walker with BOTH HANDS NOR TAKE ONE STEP WITHOUT IT.SO, I literally ask Jesus to take my left hand and God to take my right hand, thank them for a good strong walker, talk with them all the way to where I am going and I thank them when I arrive and for a safe “trip”. My fingers are a “mess” and do not want to hold a pen to write but no problem to type!! I cannot prepare my food, not even a sandwich however as the Grandpa said when his grandchildren asked him how he was doing he simply said: “well, I can still feed myself”! I don’t have time to complain as I am too busy thanking God and Jesus too, for holding my hands and for all my blessings AND I have very little pain and weeks (literally) go by without taking anything for pain. No, I don’t want a “pat on the back” I am tempted to complain some but quickly God reminds me of how blessed I am and for that I am grateful I had good parents who taught me how to be thankful. Thank you for your perfect example. Love, Margaret

  4. Thank you Karen…it’s the little things that matter. Money can’t buy any of them. Nothing like the freshness after the rain. A roof over my head. A husband who loves me. Who knew I would get a second chance at love.
And much more. All blessings from my Lord and Savior…Jesus.
