I’ve never been much for Halloween but this special display and walk-around with two of my favorite people was great fun and reminded me of my childhood walking the neighborhood with my siblings and my dad and then dumping our candy on the living room floor to compare our stashes. Long ago but good times in another era.

Not many “trick or treaters” tonight at my house. For the ones who have stopped by, it’s always fun to see all the cute costumes, Makes me think of years past with my 4.

Great Photo ! I remember very clearly a few of the nights on Halloween when my two children we going out on Halloween and I don’t know who had the most fun, my children or their Dad! One night I do remember with sadness for my son as he was walking from the door of a house down the street from us, I was waiting for him at the end of the sidewalk. Just as he got to the sidewalk to our house his sake split and his candy, etc. fell on the sidewalk! Bless my little boys heart, he cried but soon got over it as we went home and were able to save most of it. He was happy and of course we were all pleased he had a lot of good ‘stuff’ to eat but I will never forget the sad look he had on his face when that sack broke!
Thankful for good memories at all other times and for seeing the smiles on the faces of the ones who came to our house for treats. Thanks for the memories! Margaret

Yes fond memories of when my three girls were young. I always put a pot of chilie on for the family.
