“Love is the presence of God within me.”
I read this statement one morning last week in one of my devotionals, A Spring Within Me by Richard Rohr. It really impacted me. I’m reminding myself of this truth every day and I hope you find it true for yourself too.
God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him. God is love, and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
1 John 4:16
What more can be said?
Exactly. What more can be said.
Well when God abides in us we are filled with what God has for us. By way of the Holy Spirit who is with us always…helps us be the caring, kind loving person we should be.
And yes I need reminding every day.

I love this scripture verse! We all need a daily reminder from the Holy Spirit about God’s love.

“What more can be said?” I had the same thought this week Karen while reading and studying God’s Word. It’s hard to convey the depth of God’s Words better than the way He said them.
