  1. Thank you for your beautiful description of how you were comforted and replenished by walking at the ocean. Nature is soothing and so it the water. Your writing brings back special moments for me.

  2. Thank you Karen…my absolute favorite activity is walking and bejng quiet. Enjoying Gods creation. At this time I have a torn meniscus and walking is not that easy. I do miss walking. Something I have taken forgranted. I have
spent many hours with my little dog Lucy walking at Mission Bay. Fond memories. Now there are new paths to walk here in the Central Valley when I can.

  4. I definitely agree there is nothing more relaxing than being at the beach and watching the waves go by and the birds pecking in the sand for food, etc. Herb and I spent two weeks in a condo at the beach in June and one week in October and it was wonderful. I have a lot of wonderful memories of long walks on the shore and lying down in the water away from the shore and let the waves carry me to shore! Awesome memories! Thanks, Karen for reminding me. Enjoy it as long as you can! Love, Margaret
