  1. Lovely. I feel better just reading this too, even some 1900 or so years later, it still rings true. I’m in wonder of how the Bible can speak to us in our time too and still be true. I guess the truth is always the truth, eh?

  2. Thank you for sharing these wonderful words. I live on the other side of the world but I am encouraged by your friendship and the love that comes through your writings. These are the languages of heaven, of trust and love and the words of our loving heavenly Father. What a privilege to share them together. With Christian love.

  3. I walked today in the redwoods and thought of how long they have lived. Then I thought of the words to an old song “ Yesterday , today, forever Jesus is the same “
His word , his love ,and his presence are everlasting . Thank for your precious words of reminder to love other as He loved us .

  4. YES!! May the GOD of peace be with us all ….. and ….. YES!! What the world needs NOW is LOVE sweet love.
A beautiful writing and sharing from you today dear Karen. Thank you. Bless you my friend. I too feel better from reading this. You are very loved 🥰❤️🙏🏻❤️.

  5. Karen, this is my favorite verse of scripture and it was the Motto of the college I attended: Lambuth college in Jackson,Tennessee, sponsered by the Methodist Churches of the Memphis conference.I do not remember if I had read it before attending the college but I just felt it was so good and I had it memorized soon and was thrilled one day last week when it was the scipture for the day in one of the devotional’s that I read. Thank you so much for reminding me again just how much the words mean and oh how true!
    Love you, Margaret

  6. Hi Karen, PHP 4:8, 9 is one of my faves as well. The past is history and gone. The future belongs to God. Today is all we have. Make it a good one, in Jesus name. [Mark 12:30, 31]

I’ll email you tomorrow on editing.

  7. Amen…respond to the world as God does. If we dwell on the negative or sinful thoughts our thinking degenerates. But if we fill our minds with the holy and acceptale things of God the opposite happens.
God is good and loves us dearly.
    Thank you Karen

  8. Joining you Karen…
    Moving past yesterday.
    Here…now.
    Looking forward to tomorrow.
    🌸Smiles, BRC
