  1. Thank you Karen and Happy Thanksgiving to you to!
It was so nice running into you at the grocery store.
It was wonderful to catch up โค๏ธ

  2. I like the scripture you used, it is so true! In spite of the virus we still have so much for which to be thankful. We need to express out gratitude to God and thank Him each day for the blessings we receive that we so often take for granted.
I pray all of us will stay safe during these trying times and /thank God for our food and shelter and especially for His love for us!
Thanks, Karen, Love you , Margaret

  3. Thankful for you Karen. You are a sweet inspiration to me. May your cornucopia be filled with bountiful blessings in this season of Thanksgiving.

    From my heart, BRC

  4. Blessings and Hugs to you, Karen.
The passage you shared is perfect for this time that we are experiencing.
Hope you will be with family for Thanksgving.
So nice to be a part of this blog.

    • Thank you, Joan. I’ll be home alone for T-day. Following the CDC guidelines but will enjoy a Zoom visit with other older friends who are all staying home–to be safe.

  5. Happy Thanksgiving Karen.
I love this time of year when we can reflect on all our blessings
Even in this Covid year , there is much we can thank the Lord for.
I have seen many acts of kindness and communication in spite of distancing. We are so blessed with technology and mobility that was not possible in the 1918 pandemic. My brother-in-law has a picture of his father and some friends wearing masks that was taken during that time.
It is a good reminder that “this too shall pass”. God is so good and we can trust Him. Looking forward to more of your inspiring thoughts and words. Love and blessing!!

    • Thank you for the reminder of our many blessings, regardless of the situation. My mother was four years old during the 1918 pandemic. Amazing. She lived through it and beyond all the way to age 86. You’re correct, Etta Mae. This too shall pass as the Bible reminds us. 2 Corinthians 4:17-18
