M.A.S.K.
Last week my friend Kathleen and I visited the Santa Cruz Arboretum and Botanic Garden (with masks in place). What a blessing it was to stroll among the most beautiful of exotic plants and flowers.
I played with the feelings that came over me as we strolled the paths, stopped for a rest on a bench, and enjoyed the swaying trees.
I don’t like wearing a mask, but of course I’ll follow the rules. Then it came to me:
M = Motivation
A = Assurance
S = Serenity
K = Kindness
As I don my mask each day I’m going to hold onto these words of encouragement that God is with me, His motivation, assurance, and serenity leading me, and his reminder to treat everyone I meet with kindness. I’m feeling more peaceful already. And I wish the same for you.
“I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)
WOW~you are so clever! Thank you for the ‘formula’ for mask. I will pass it on. Four beautiful words and if we followed them we could change a lot of things! Your walk sounds wonderful and I know you were inspired with the beauty!
Stay safe and feel loved~because you are! Margaret
Thank you, Margaret. You are a true encourager.

Thank, Heidi. I appreciate you so much.
Karen I just love how mask can represent motivation, assurance, serenity, and kindness. This world would be so much better if we all practiced those things.You are such a gift to me and everyone that you touch.
Thanks, Sandy, for your kind words.
Thank you Karen for your message. I too don’t like wearing the mask but I do wear a mask each time I go out. Remembering your message will make it easier to wear the mask.
So good to hear from you, Karen. I remember our wonderful bus trip.
Great acronym Karen. Once again you are looking at the positive side of an experience we’d rather avoid. Thank you for your uplift!
Thank you, Carol.
