And Puppy Dog Tails — 1 Comment

  1. We had a family dog, Bandit. He was the the love of our family. We had to send him over the Rainbow Bridge and then our children moved on with their lives and our house was empty. Then Ken and I adopted Sassy and Sadie. Eventually Buddy and Bailey joined us. As they grew older, after each one passed away, I’d fill that empty space. They were all Cocker Spaniels. Sadie was my therapy partner and a couch potato, which is why she was perfect for the job. I could go on and on, but I’ll keep this short. We then adopted Lady and Peant, they were Cavaliers and Peanut was my favorite. Don’t get me wrong, I loved all of our dogs with my whole heart, but she and Peanut had special places in my heart. Then I rescued Sophie and Marley, they are the two I have left. I have decided that since I’m 75+ I’m too old to start over with the puppy thing. Now I work at PetSmart in the Doggie Hotel and I work with the small dogs and I get puppy love from them every day. Marley and Sophie give me their love whenever I get home from work. So you might say, I’m a very blessed lady to have had all of these pups in my life. God is good all the time.
